Cryptoasset trading is governed by the Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency (Bappebti), an agency under the Ministry of Trade, and is subject to a separate set of regulations. These rules are outlined in Bappebti Regulation No. 8 of 2021 regarding guidance for the implementation of the cryptoasset physical market in futures exchanges, dated 29 October 2021.1
