OJK Regulation No. 42/POJK.03/2019 dated 31 December 2019, and Bank Indonesia Circular Letter No. 15/49/DPKL dated 5 December 2013, both regulate credit information services. Under these Regulations, credit bureaus are sanctioned to collect and process credit data and other data in order to generate a credit report. The report is offered by the credit bureau either in writing, verbally or through any other means using the data it possesses. Moreover, as with other fintech companies that should be supervised by OJK, a license must be obtained from the OJK for any business activities of the credit bureau planned to take place within Indonesia's borders.1
