This Notice No. 2/2018 permits financial institutions to employ remote onboarding procedures that satisfy KYC demands in compliance with the applicable AML regulations. Currently, authorised remote onboarding techniques under the AML legislation and Notice are videoconferencing and other KYC methods conducted by trust service providers, who adhere to Regulation (EU) 910/2014.1
