Under Turkish law, there is no regulation regarding artificial intelligence (AI); however, the Digital Transformation Office of the Presidency has been assigned to lead the AI transformation process. Consequently, the National Artificial Intelligence Strategy 2021–2025 was released on 24 August 2021, drafted in collaboration between the Digital Transformation Office of the Presidency and the Ministry of Industry and Technology. This was formalized by a Presidential Circular published in the Official Gazette dated 20 August 2021.1
